Which side to sleep with blocked nose?

During cold and flu season, I often get a blocked nose which makes sleeping difficult. Someone suggested a sleeping position to help with this. Which side to sleep with blocked nose for easier breathing?

It's hard to sleep with a blocked nose. Try sleeping on your side, whichever feels more comfortable, and elevate your head a bit.

Sleeping on your side and elevating your head is most effective for a blocked nose. This helps with drainage and reduces congestion. A quick steam before bed also works wonders for immediate relief.

Yo, blocked nose is the worst. I usually sleep on my side, like whichever nostril is less blocked, I sleep on that side. Or just prop up your head with pillows. Works for me.

For a blocked nose, it's generally best to sleep on your side, not flat on your back. If one nostril is more blocked, sleep on the opposite side to help clear it with gravity. Also, elevating your head with an extra pillow can help drain mucus.

Honestly, at this point, any side where I can actually get five minutes of sleep without feeling like I'm drowning is the best side! 😭 But yeah, elevating your head and sleeping on your side helps a bit.

With a blocked nose, the best side to sleep on is the one where you can actually breathe! 😂 Seriously though, try propping your head up with two pillows and sleep on your side. Hope you get some relief!

From my experience, sleeping on my side with an extra pillow really helped when I had a blocked nose. It felt less congested than lying flat. Just try to find a comfortable position that eases your breathing.
