Which side to sleep with acid reflux?

I suffer from acid reflux quite often, especially at night. It's very uncomfortable and disturbs my sleep. I read that sleeping on a specific side can help. Which side to sleep with acid reflux to reduce symptoms?

Left side sleeping is definitely the best for acid reflux. It makes a noticeable difference.

Oh, same question here! I was just looking this up because my acidity has been bad lately. Heard left side is good, planning to try it tonight.

Ugh, acid reflux is the worst, especially after a heavy dinner! 😩 Left side is usually the way to go. But also, maybe cut down on that late-night biryani? (Says me, who can't resist!)

Definitely the left side, sis! I used to struggle so much with acid reflux, and sleeping on my left side along with a slightly elevated pillow really helped. It just prevents the acid from coming up so much.

Ah, acid reflux, my old friend! 😴 Left side is what all the docs say. I sometimes wake up on my right and immediately feel it, so it definitely works. Now if only I could stay on my left all night!

I can only share what helped me personally. When my acid reflux was really bad, sleeping on my left side with my head slightly elevated was the only way I could get some sleep. Consult your own doctor for what's best for you though.

It's really tough dealing with acid reflux, I remember how miserable it made me feel. Sleeping on the left side is what almost everyone suggests and it did help me calm down. Don't feel alone, it gets better!

Yo! Acid reflux sucks, right? Everyone says left side is the way to go. My roommate swears by it. Just make sure your head is a bit up too, like with an extra pillow. Hope it helps!

Left side is best for acid reflux, absolutely. Besides that, make sure you're not eating too close to bedtime. A light walk after dinner can also aid digestion and reduce reflux, if your doc says it's okay.

Please, if your acid reflux is persistent, get it checked by a doctor. I ignored mine for too long and it became chronic. Sleeping on the left helps, but it's a temporary fix. Get to the root cause.

For acid reflux, sleeping on your left side is generally the recommended position. This is due to the anatomy of your stomach, which helps prevent stomach acid from flowing back up. Also, try elevating your head slightly with an extra pillow.

Many people, including myself, find relief by sleeping on their left side. It's often recommended. I also try to not eat anything heavy 3 hours before bed. Combine it with some fennel seeds (saunf) after dinner, helps a lot.
