Which of the following might cause prerenal acute kidney failure?

My friend suffered from acute kidney failure, and the doctors said it was 'prerenal'. I'm trying to understand what could have caused that. What are some common factors that lead to prerenal acute kidney failure?

I'm just reading up on this now too! It seems like anything that severely reduces blood flow to the kidneys, like dehydration or heart failure, could be a cause for prerenal acute kidney failure. It's quite complex.

Oh my god, this sounds scary! So things like really bad diarrhea or heavy blood loss can cause this? It makes me so anxious, I always worry about keeping my fluid levels up now. It's important to be careful, everyone!

Probably staying up all night on my phone and forgetting to drink water is a good way to cause it, haha. No, but seriously, dehydration, heart problems, severe bleeding... basically anything that messes with blood flow to kidneys can do it. Need more sleep and water, I guess.

My mother always said to drink plenty of water, especially in this heat. I think severe dehydration can really impact kidney function. For anything serious like this, always listen to the doctor's advice.

Beta, hamare gaon mein, jab koi bohot kam paani peeta hai ya bahut bimaar ho jata hai jismein sharir se paani nikal jaata hai, tab gurde par asar hota hai. Doctor ke paas jaana zaroori hai.

My doctor explained that prerenal acute kidney failure is often due to reduced blood supply to the kidneys. Common culprits include severe dehydration, heart failure, and conditions leading to significant blood loss. It's about 'before the kidney' issues impacting flow.
