Which of the following is not a mental health professional?

I'm looking for help with some personal issues, and I'm trying to figure out which kind of professional to approach – a therapist, counselor, or psychiatrist. Which of these options wouldn't actually be considered a mental health professional?

Many people confuse different roles, it's normal. A general physician, for example, isn't typically a mental health specialist, though they can refer you. Don't worry if you don't know all the distinctions at first, just ask when in doubt.

Psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists are mental health professionals. So, like, a dentist wouldn't be one, right? Or maybe a general physician, they focus on physical health primarily. It's confusing to keep track of all the different titles sometimes.

A general physician or a personal trainer, for instance, wouldn't typically be classified as a mental health professional, even though exercise is great for mental well-being! Psychologists and psychiatrists are the specialists here. Keep your body AND mind fit!

A general physician is not usually a mental health professional. They are for general physical health.

Someone like a GP (general practitioner) is not a specialized mental health professional, though they can advise. For serious mental health concerns, natural tips help for calmness, but you really need to see a trained psychologist or psychiatrist, not just anyone.

Ho na, a general physician ya fir ek physiotherapist, woh sab mental health professional nahi hote. Unka focus dusra hota hai. For mind issues, you need to go to a proper psychologist or psychiatrist.

A general physician (GP) is not a mental health professional. While they can identify mental health concerns and provide initial support, they are not specialists in psychiatry or psychology.
