Which of the following increases stroke volume?

I'm quite into fitness and trying to understand my heart better during workouts. My trainer mentioned 'stroke volume'. What are some factors or activities that can actually increase it?

Haha, not eating too much butter chicken, I hope! Just kidding! Stroke volume is how much blood your heart pumps with each beat. Things like increased preload (more blood filling the heart) or increased contractility (heart muscle squeezing harder) can increase it. Don't worry, your heart knows what it's doing mostly!

From what I understand, factors like increased venous return, improved contractility of the heart muscle, and decreased afterload can increase stroke volume. If you're really interested in these details, it's best to ask a cardiologist from a reputable hospital. They can explain it clearly.

Beta, stroke volume means how much blood your heart pushes out with each beat. When your heart is strong and healthy, it pushes more. Simple things like being active and eating good food helps keep the heart strong. Don't worry too much, just live well.

Increased stroke volume can be influenced by things like good hydration and a strong heart muscle. However, if you are asking because of a heart condition, please be very cautious. Any changes or concerns with your heart should always be discussed with a heart specialist immediately. I've seen how quickly things can go wrong if ignored.

My doctor explained that stroke volume increases with higher preload (the amount of blood returning to the heart), increased contractility (the strength of the heart's contraction), and decreased afterload (the resistance the heart has to pump against). So, a strong, well-filled heart pumping into relaxed arteries.

Stroke volume? Sounds like a fancy way to say your heart's working hard! I guess a well-hydrated body is probably good, just like a well-oiled machine needs its oil. Maybe eating healthy foods also helps your heart be stronger and pump better, like fuel for a good workout!
