Which mattress is better for back pain?

My husband has constant lower back pain and we're planning to buy a new mattress. We've heard different things about memory foam vs. spring. Which mattress is better for someone with chronic back pain?

Oh, I totally get it, back pain is the worst! I struggled with finding the right mattress for ages. What helped me was a medium-firm orthopedic one. It gives support without being too hard. Hope you find relief soon!

Don't panic too much, finding the right mattress can really help. I remember stressing over it so much when my back started hurting. Turns out a good memory foam one, not too soft, was enough for me. Just try a few options before buying.

Hey! I actually track my sleep quality with my fitness band, and I noticed a huge difference after switching to a proper orthopedic mattress. Look for one that adapts to your body shape but still gives firm support. Read reviews online for brands, many offer trial periods.

Yaar, back pain is such a common problem these days. Actually, I tried a memory foam mattress, the one which isn't super soft, and it really helped. My physiotherapist also said to pick something medium-firm, not too hard, not too soft. Go check out some stores.

Agree with others, orthopedic is a good choice. Make sure it's not too old, mattresses lose support over time.

Dude, back pain from a bad mattress is the worst! My friend had the same issue and switched to a hybrid one with pocket springs and a memory foam layer. Said it helped a lot. Maybe check those out, lots of brands have them now.

My child, a good sleep surface is important for the body's rest. Choose a mattress that feels supportive for your spine. And remember to keep a calm mind, that also heals. Focus on healing, and things will improve.

Back pain needs careful attention. A good, firm-ish orthopedic mattress is often recommended. Also, don't forget to get regular full body checkups, especially if you have other conditions like high BP. Sometimes the pain can be connected to other issues.
