Which is worse hepatitis a or b?

My cousin got hepatitis A a few years back, and now her husband has hepatitis B. We're trying to understand how different they are. Which of the two, hepatitis A or B, is generally considered to be the more serious or 'worse' type?

Yaar, definitely Hepatitis B is worse. Actually, Hep A usually clears up on its own and doesn't cause long-term liver damage. But Hep B can become chronic, leading to serious stuff like liver cirrhosis or cancer if not treated. So yeah, B is way more concerning.

Haan, Hepatitis B is definitely more serious than A. Hep A is usually a one-time thing, like a bad fever, and you recover. But Hep B, na, that can stay with you forever and damage your liver badly. So, B is the one to be more careful about.

Hepatitis B is generally considered more severe than Hepatitis A. Hep B can become a chronic infection and lead to long-term liver damage. Please consult a doctor if you are concerned.

For sure, Hepatitis B is worse in terms of long-term health and potential complications, which means more doctor visits and potentially costly treatments. Hep A is usually acute and self-limiting. Vaccination is available for both, which is a good investment in health to avoid future costs. But if comparing severity, B takes the cake.

It's totally valid to ask about the severity, because sometimes the emotional burden of potential illness is huge. From what I've learned, Hepatitis B definitely has more serious long-term implications, often leading to chronic liver conditions. Hep A, while unpleasant, usually resolves on its own. It's tough, but knowing helps you take better steps.

While any illness brings suffering, medically speaking, Hepatitis B carries a greater risk of chronic illness and severe liver problems. It is a reminder to take care of our physical bodies. Stay positive, eat well, and seek medical guidance when needed for such serious conditions.
