Hello there! For diabetes, it's really about balancing things. Whole grains like bajra, jowar, ragi are excellent. Lots of veggies, especially green leafy ones, and lean proteins are key. Remember to watch portion sizes and avoid sugary drinks completely. Small, frequent meals work best.

Oh, I totally get how confusing it can be to figure out what to eat with diabetes. It's like everything suddenly becomes a 'no'! Don't stress too much, though. Focus on foods with low glycemic index. Lentils, sprouts, and even some fruits like guava or apple in moderation are good.

Stay positive, my dear. Your body is a temple, so nourish it wisely. For diabetes, simple, home-cooked meals are always best. Include lots of fibre and try to eat mindfully. A calm mind also helps manage blood sugar, believe it or not.

Honestly, the best foods are what we usually eat at home, just healthier versions. Roti made of multi-grain atta instead of maida, dal, sabzi, curd. Try to cut down on rice, especially white rice. And avoid all those packaged snacks, they're full of hidden sugar.

I track my macros and blood sugar with an app, and it really helps! For diabetes, focus on high-fiber foods and good protein. Think complex carbs like oats or quinoa, lots of green veggies, and lean chicken or fish. You can find many meal plans online too, but tailor it to your needs.

Eating healthy for diabetes doesn't have to be expensive, luckily. Lots of seasonal veggies are cheap and good for you. Dals and whole grains like bajra are also very affordable staples. Planning your meals helps a lot to avoid impulse buys and expensive junk food.
