Which finding is expected in a patient with heat stroke?

It's getting very hot here, and I'm worried about heat stroke, especially for older people. What are the common symptoms or signs that someone is experiencing heat stroke?

Heat stroke is very dangerous; I've seen people get very ill from it. The most critical finding is a very high body temperature, often above 104°F (40°C), along with altered mental status like confusion or unconsciousness. Also, hot, dry skin (though sometimes sweating can still be present). This is an emergency, you need to call an ambulance and get to a hospital immediately.

I totally get why you'd ask, especially with the heat we have! For heat stroke, the key thing is a really high body temperature (like over 40°C). Another big sign is altered mental state – confusion, irritability, or even fainting. The skin might be hot and dry, or sometimes still sweaty. It's a medical emergency, so immediate cooling and help are needed.

For heat stroke, the most concerning finding is a high core body temperature, usually above 40°C or 104°F. This is often accompanied by changes in mental state, like confusion, disorientation, or even loss of consciousness. It's a serious condition that requires immediate medical help. Please don't take it lightly.

Haan ji, heat stroke bohot serious hai. Ismein sabse important finding hai ki body temperature bohot high ho jaata hai, like 104 degrees Fahrenheit se bhi upar. Aur banda confused ho jaata hai, ya behosh ho sakta hai. Skin bhi hot aur dry hoti hai. Yeh emergency hai, na, so immediately hospital jaana chahiye.

My dear, during these hot summers, heat stroke is very dangerous. If someone has a heat stroke, their body becomes very hot, extremely hot, almost like burning, and they can get confused or even faint. Their skin will feel very dry. This is not like simple fever; you must take them to the doctor or hospital immediately. Don't waste a minute.
