For youth, academic pressure and social media comparison are huge stressors. Also, sometimes hormonal imbalances, like thyroid issues, can manifest as mood swings or anxiety, which often go unchecked. So, while social factors are big, a general health check-up is also important for mental well-being. Parents should ensure regular physical and mental health discussions.

A poor diet, especially one high in processed foods and sugar, can significantly affect youth mental health. Lack of proper nutrition for brain development and function is a huge factor. Combine that with sleep deprivation and excessive screen time, and it creates a very unhealthy environment for a young mind to thrive. Balanced meals are so important.

Oh, there are so many things nowadays that affect young people. When I was young, we worried about exams. Now, it's social media, constant comparison, and so much pressure from all sides. Lack of real human connection, despite being 'connected' online, seems to be a big one. It makes them feel very lonely inside. We must talk to them more.

From what I've seen, unrealistic expectations from parents and society, coupled with the constant digital comparison trap on social media, are major negative factors. Also, a lack of healthy coping mechanisms and open communication within families can really isolate young people. It's crucial to foster resilience and provide a safe space for them to express themselves.

Ho na, bohot saare factors hain. But I feel the constant pressure to perform, academically and socially, plus all the social media comparisons, they really affect youth mental health. They feel like they are never enough, na? Also, lack of sleep due to screens is a big one.

Definitely, excessive screen time and cyberbullying are massive issues now. Also, the pressure to conform and constant academic stress can lead to severe anxiety and depression. I've seen some cases become quite serious. If you see signs of withdrawal or extreme mood changes in any youth, please encourage them to see a counselor or doctor quickly. Don't ignore it.
