Which coconut oil is best for scalp psoriasis?

I have scalp psoriasis, and it gets really itchy and dry. I've heard that coconut oil can be helpful. There are so many types though, like virgin, refined, etc. Which kind of coconut oil is best to use for scalp psoriasis?

Yaar, for scalp psoriasis, actually virgin coconut oil works best because it's less processed. But honestly, it only helps with the dryness and flakes, it's not a cure. Better to consult a dermatologist for proper treatment, na?

While coconut oil can help moisturize the scalp and reduce flaking for psoriasis, it's not a treatment for the underlying condition. Opt for virgin or extra virgin coconut oil as it retains more beneficial compounds. Always patch test first, and continue with your prescribed medical treatment.

Coconut oil? At this point, I'd probably put anything on my head if it promised relief. But seriously, virgin coconut oil is generally recommended because it's purer. Just make sure to wash it out properly so your pillow doesn't look like an oil slick. Psoriasis plus sleep deprivation is a real joy, lemme tell ya.

My friend uses virgin coconut oil for his scalp psoriasis, says it helps with the itching and dryness a bit. He leaves it overnight. But he also sees a skin doctor regularly. So yeah, it's more for comfort than cure, I guess.

For scalp psoriasis, virgin or organic cold-pressed coconut oil is often suggested for its moisturizing properties. It can help alleviate dryness and reduce flaking. However, it's crucial to understand that it's a supportive measure, not a definitive treatment. Always consult a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
