Which beans are best for diabetics?

My doctor told me to include more fiber in my diet because of my diabetes. I love eating beans. Which beans are considered the best for diabetics to incorporate into their meals?

Oh, this is such an important question for diabetics! I always get so anxious trying to figure out the best foods. From what I've read, pretty much all beans are good because of their fiber and low glycemic index. Like kidney beans (rajma), chickpeas (chole), or black beans. They help regulate blood sugar, right? But still, portion control is key, even with good foods.

I was actually looking this up for my uncle who recently got diagnosed with diabetes. Seems like most beans are considered super beneficial because of their high fiber content and protein. Things like chana, rajma, and moong dal are always recommended. They help keep blood sugar steady.

Bhai, for diabetics, practically all the common dals and beans we eat are good. Rajma, chana, moong, masoor... all of them are full of fiber and nutrients, which is great for controlling sugar. Just make sure you cook them simply, without too much oil or masalas. Simple sabzi with lots of veggies is best.

Haan, my nani is diabetic, and her dietician always tells her to eat lots of beans! She says rajma, kala chana, and even lobia (black-eyed peas) are really good because they have lots of fiber and protein, which helps keep sugar spikes down. It's all about making smart food choices, you know?

My doctor specifically recommended legumes for my father who is diabetic. He mentioned that black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas (chana), and lentils (dals) are excellent. They are rich in soluble fiber which helps slow down glucose absorption and can improve insulin sensitivity. He said to soak them well before cooking to aid digestion too.
