Where is the kidney located in the female body?

My friend was talking about kidney health and I realized I don't actually know where it is. Can someone explain where the kidney is located in the female body? Is it the same for everyone?

The kidneys are located in the lower back, one on each side of the spine, just below the rib cage. This applies to both men and women. Taking care of them by drinking enough water and eating healthy can prevent expensive health issues later. Prevention is always better and cheaper.

Same location as in males: lower back, on either side of the spine, just beneath the rib cage. Anatomy for basic organs is universal. No difference in position for gender.

It's in the lower back, both sides of the spine. Location is generally the same for everyone.

The kidneys are in the lower back, on both sides of the spine, below the rib cage. I sometimes get lower back pain and wonder if it's kidney-related or just muscle pain, does anyone else feel confused about that? It makes me a bit worried.

Betiyan, the kidneys are in the lower back, one on each side of your spine, below your ribs. It is the same for men and women. Drink plenty of water and keep yourself pure, that is the best medicine. But if there is pain, don't delay in seeing the doctor.

The location of kidneys is consistent across genders: they are found in the lower back, on either side of the spine, tucked beneath the lower ribs. For quick and accurate info, medical diagrams are very helpful. Don't waste time on vague descriptions; go for clear visuals.

As a woman, I can tell you the kidney location is exactly the same: lower back, on both sides of the spine, just under the rib cage. Many times, women confuse period pain or even UTI pain with kidney pain, so it's good to know the exact area. If the pain is sharp and persistent, see a doctor, especially for UTIs.
