Where does the kidney sit in the body?

I had a minor backache, and my friend joked it might be my kidneys. It made me wonder, where exactly do the kidneys sit in the body? Just for general knowledge.

The kidneys are located in your back, just below your rib cage, one on each side of your spine. They're pretty high up, actually. When I had a kidney stone, the pain was mostly in my lower back, radiating towards the front. Hydration is super important for them!

It's natural to feel concerned when you think about your organs and their placement, especially if you're experiencing some discomfort. The kidneys are located on either side of your spine, below the rib cage and behind your belly. Knowing where they are can sometimes help pinpoint a pain, but always get proper medical advice.

The kidneys are basically chilling in your lower back, one on each side of your spine, tucked right under your rib cage. They're like the unsung heroes filtering everything while you're busy living life and eating all the delicious (sometimes questionable) food! Give them some water, they deserve it!

The kidneys are located in your lower back, on either side of your spine, below your rib cage. They're essential for filtering blood. It's important to be mindful of all our organs. While I focus on PCOS, maintaining overall health and getting regular check-ups is something everyone should prioritize for their kidneys and other vital organs.

The kidneys are situated in your lower back, one on either side of your spine, just below the rib cage. As someone managing high BP, I know how vital healthy kidneys are. Regular checkups and a low-sodium diet are crucial to keep them functioning well, especially for blood pressure regulation.
