When to worry about piles?

Someone in my family recently had surgery for piles, and now I'm feeling a little discomfort myself. It's not constant, but it's there. I'm wondering at what point should I really start worrying about piles and consult a doctor?

Bhai, agar bleeding bahut zyada ho, ya pain itna ho ki baithna bhi mushkil ho jaaye, ya phir agar piles bahar aa gaye hain aur wapas andar nahi jaa rahe, toh yeh sab serious signs hain. Der mat karo, doctor ko dikhaao. Sharm ki koi baat nahi, yeh medical condition hai.

Piles are common, many people get them, so don't feel ashamed. I had them after my children were born. If the bleeding is heavy, or if you have severe pain, or a lump that won't go back in, then it's time to worry and see a good doctor. Otherwise, high fiber diet and proper hydration help a lot.

I've had some discomfort and occasional bleeding, and it makes me so anxious. Does anyone else feel like the pain sometimes just radiates? When does it cross the line from 'manageable' to 'emergency'? I'm scared to go to the doctor.

While my child thankfully hasn't had piles, my husband did after a lot of straining. We worried when the bleeding was bright red and continuous, and he was in constant pain. If you see blood, experience intense pain, or if the lump is hard and very tender, please go to a specialist. Don't self-treat serious symptoms.

Piles are very common, ho na? But if there's a lot of bleeding, ya phir pain bahut zyada ho, ya if you feel a lump that's very painful and not going inside, toh you must consult a doctor. Don't ignore these serious signs, please.
