When to worry about infant vomiting?

My 3-month-old baby has vomited twice this morning after feeding, more than just a normal spit-up, and seems a bit fussy. She's otherwise active. When should I worry about infant vomiting and call the pediatrician?

My grandmothers always said a little spit-up is normal for babies. But if the vomiting is forceful, frequent, green or yellow, or if the baby seems very lethargic, has a fever, or isn't having wet diapers, then it is very important to see a pediatrician immediately. Trust your motherly instincts, but also trust the doctor for diagnosis.

Arey baap re, baby vomiting is so scary, ho na? If it's just a little bit of spit-up, no tension. But agar bahut zyada ho, ya baby bahut weak lage, ya fever bhi ho, toh pakka doctor ko dikhao. Babies ko jaldi dehydration ho jaata hai.

When my niece was small, she once vomited a lot and her mom got so scared. The doctor said if it's constant, if the baby seems really floppy, or if the color is weird, then it's serious. It's better to just call your pediatrician or rush to an emergency if you feel something is off. You know your baby best.

Haan, infant vomiting can be very worrying. If it's more than just a little burp-spit, ya baby ko fever bhi ho, ya wo doodh na piye, toh bilkul bhi wait mat karo, doc ke paas jaao. Chhote bacche jaldi bigad jaate hain, na.

For infant vomiting, if it's just after a feed and a small amount, usually it's fine. But if the baby is projectile vomiting, or seems very weak, has fever, or not drinking milk, then it's a concern. Give ORS if doc allows and definitely show to pediatrician. Don't try home remedies without knowing the cause, it's a small baby.

If the baby is showing any signs of distress or dehydration, definitely go to the doctor immediately.

I tried everything for my baby's occasional reflux, ginger water, sips of jeera pani, but for actual vomiting, especially if it was projectile or constant, I always went to the doc. You can't mess with infant health. Home remedies are for mild issues, not when they're actually sick and unable to keep anything down. Listen to your gut and see a pediatrician.

I've been there! With infants, you need to worry if the vomiting is severe, persistent, or accompanied by other signs like fever, decreased urination, or if the vomit is green/yellow. Also, if they are refusing feeds or seem unusually sleepy, that's a definite trip to the doctor. Dehydration can happen very quickly in babies.

Infant vomiting is always scary. If it's more than just a little spit-up after feeding, and especially if the baby seems really unwell, don't delay. Waiting can lead to dehydration, which means more hospital visits and expensive treatments. Better to get it checked early and save on bigger problems later.

Any vomiting in an infant, especially if it's severe, frequent, or projectile, needs to be checked by a doctor. Infants can dehydrate very quickly. Always err on the side of caution and get professional medical advice immediately. Don't take chances.
