When to wear compression socks pregnancy?

My feet are starting to swell up a bit, especially by evening, and I'm 6 months pregnant now. I heard compression socks can help. When is the right time to start wearing them during pregnancy? Should I wait for more swelling?

My older relatives would always suggest keeping feet elevated during pregnancy to reduce swelling. But for proper compression, my doctor recommended wearing them if I noticed my feet and ankles getting very swollen, especially by the end of the day or if I was standing for long periods. It's good to listen to the doctor for specific medical aids like these.

Hello dear, from what I've seen with many pregnant ladies in our community, compression socks become very useful if you start feeling a lot of swelling in your legs and ankles, or if you have varicose veins. It's best to put them on in the morning before you get out of bed, and wear them through the day. Always consult your gynaecologist first to confirm the right type and compression level for you.

Even with PCOS, every pregnancy is different. I've heard many women find compression socks helpful for leg swelling, especially in the later trimesters. It's not a universal recommendation, but if you're experiencing discomfort, definitely discuss it with your doctor. They can advise if it's right for your specific situation and recommend the right kind.

When to wear them? Probably when your feet resemble swollen melons and you can't see your ankles anymore! Haha, honestly, my doctor told me to start wearing them when the swelling got noticeable, usually from the second trimester. It's a pain to put them on sometimes, especially when you're already exhausted, but they really do help!

Hey! So many of my friends used compression socks during their pregnancy. Usually, it's advised when you start noticing swelling in your feet and ankles, especially if you're on your feet a lot or in the later trimesters. It's good to get a doctor's recommendation on the right type and size, though.

Ho na, pregnancy mein pairon mein sujan toh hoti hi hai. Jab aapko lage ki legs mein heaviness ya swelling aa rahi hai, especially evening mein, tab compression socks pehen sakte ho. Subah uth ke peheno aur din bhar rakho. Par ek baar doc se bhi pooch lena, kaunsa compression theek rahega.

My doctor advised me to start wearing compression socks during my second trimester when I began noticing mild ankle swelling, especially if I had to stand or sit for long periods. She emphasized that they help improve circulation and prevent fluid pooling. It's important to choose graduated compression (tighter at the ankle, looser towards the knee) and put them on first thing in the morning before significant swelling occurs.

Agar pairon mein sujan aane lage, ya khade rehne mein mushkil ho, tab compression socks kaafi madad karte hain. Subah naha kar, bed se uthne se pehle hi pehen lo. Din bhar ke liye theek rehta hai. Raat ko sote waqt nikaal do. Ye chote chote tareeke bahut kaam aate hain.

For something like compression socks during pregnancy, it's really important to get specific advice from your gynecologist. They can tell you if you need them, what level of compression is appropriate, and how long to wear them, based on your individual health and pregnancy stage. Don't just go by general advice, please confirm with your doctor for safety.

Oh, the leg swelling can be quite worrying during pregnancy, I would probably overthink every tiny ache! Many doctors recommend compression socks if you start experiencing significant edema (swelling) or if you're prone to varicose veins. It's best to consult your OB-GYN to see if they're necessary for you and what strength you should use.
