When to start eating dates in pregnancy?

I'm pregnant and heard that eating dates in the last few weeks can help with labor. I'm currently 30 weeks along. When exactly should I start eating dates during pregnancy, and how many are usually recommended for the best effect?

Okay, so many pregnant women are curious about dates! From a practical standpoint, it's generally advised to start dates in the third trimester, specifically from around 36 weeks. The research suggests they might help with cervical ripening and reduce the need for induction. But always, always discuss it with your gynaecologist first, especially if you have any pre-existing conditions like gestational diabetes.

Haan, dates are quite popular for pregnancy, especially towards the end. Log kehte hain ki yeh labour mein help karte hain, na? Most suggestions are to start them from the 36th week onwards, having about 6-7 dates daily. But, better to ask your doctor for confirmation, har kisi ki body alag hoti hai.

For expecting mothers, especially if you have gestational diabetes or a family history of it, controlling sugar intake is very important. Dates, while healthy, are high in natural sugars. So, if you're planning to consume them in pregnancy, especially for labor preparation, it's crucial to first consult your gynaecologist. They can advise based on your blood sugar levels and overall health, typically suggesting them only in the very last few weeks if appropriate.

I remember my wife was really worried about everything she ate during pregnancy. For dates, her doctor said it's fine to start around the last month, like 36 weeks. They're a natural sugar source and have fibre, which is good. Don't panic and think you need to start super early; just confirm with your doctor when you're in the final stages.

For dates in pregnancy, the common advice I've heard is to start them in the last month, around week 36. It's believed to help make labor easier. My bhabhi did it, and she just had 6-7 dates daily. It's a natural way to get some energy. But always check with your doctor for guidance, simple and clear advice is best.
