When to share pregnancy news?

My husband and I are expecting our first baby, and we are so excited! We've told our immediate family, but I'm wondering, when is the best time to share pregnancy news with extended family and friends? I've heard some people wait till the first trimester is over.

Regarding sharing pregnancy news, you'll find all sorts of 'rules' online, but honestly, it's a very personal decision. Don't feel pressured by what anyone else says. Discuss with your partner when *you* both feel comfortable, perhaps after the first trimester scan confirms everything is okay. That's the most sensible approach.

Look, it's your news. Some people wait for 3 months, some tell immediately. If you're close to your family, tell them when you want. If you're worried about complications, then wait till you feel stable. There's no fixed rule, do what makes you comfortable. Just don't feel forced.

It's a big decision! From a practical standpoint, waiting until after the first trimester, around 12-14 weeks, is common as the risk of miscarriage significantly drops. This gives you peace of mind to share the news more broadly. Meanwhile, focus on your health and doctor-approved exercises.

Oh, this is such a huge decision, and it's normal to overthink it! I always worried about 'what if' scenarios. Many choose to wait until the end of the first trimester (around 12 weeks) when the risk of miscarriage decreases and you've had your first scan. But it truly depends on your comfort level and who you want to share your joy and potential worries with. Do what feels best for your mental peace.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, we waited until after the first trimester, around 12 weeks, once we had the first ultrasound and everything looked fine. It just gave us more peace of mind before telling everyone. But for very close family, some people tell earlier. It's really up to you and your partner when you feel secure and ready.

When to share? When you can no longer blame your weird food cravings on 'just being hungry' anymore! Haha, but seriously, most people wait till the first trimester is over, around 12 weeks. That way, you've got a bit more confidence everything is stable. But if you're bursting with joy, tell your closest circle early!

Beta, traditionally, we would wait till the third month, after the first scan confirms everything is good. This is because sometimes initial months can have uncertainties, and it prevents worries later. But it is your decision. Share when you feel your heart is ready to share. Just take care of yourself.

When to share? After you've had enough time to process the shock yourself, and maybe finished the first trimester of morning sickness! Seriously though, the 'safe' period is usually considered after 12 weeks. But you do what feels right for you and your partner. Don't let anyone rush you.
