When to get rsv vaccine pregnancy?

I heard about the RSV vaccine for pregnant women to protect the baby. When is the recommended time to get this vaccine during pregnancy? I'm due in a few months.

I had some complications in a previous pregnancy, so I'm very cautious about everything now. For the RSV vaccine, it's relatively new for pregnant women, so definitely discuss it thoroughly with your gynaecologist. They will consider your individual health, local RSV season, and specific risks before recommending the best timing for you. Don't rely on general advice.

Oh, another vaccine during pregnancy? It makes me so anxious with all the decisions! When is the best time for the RSV vaccine, like which month? And does it have many side effects? I really want to protect my baby but also want to be safe myself. Did anyone else feel a bit overwhelmed about this one?

While my focus is usually on a healthy vegetarian diet during pregnancy, I also understand the importance of preventative measures like vaccines. The RSV vaccine is meant to protect the baby, and usually, it's recommended in the later stages of pregnancy, like the third trimester. Please discuss this with your gynaecologist, as they will have the most current and specific advice for you.

My sister just had her baby, and her doctor told her to get the RSV vaccine sometime in her third trimester, I think around 32-36 weeks. It's apparently to pass antibodies to the baby. But yeah, she just followed what her doc said. Best to ask your gynaecologist directly for exact timing, they know the latest guidelines.

During my pregnancy, my doctor recommended the RSV vaccine in my third trimester, specifically after week 32. I took it then, and it went smoothly. I can only share my experience, but for medical advice, please consult your gynaecologist. Every pregnancy is different, so what worked for me might not be right for everyone.

Oh my goodness, I completely get the worry about vaccines during pregnancy! I always overthink every single health decision. For the RSV vaccine, my doctor said it's usually given in the third trimester, specifically between weeks 32 and 36, so the antibodies have enough time to transfer to the baby. But honestly, your doctor is the best person to confirm the exact timing for *your* situation. Don't stress too much, just ask them clearly!

Sweetie, it's wise to consider all protections for your baby. The RSV vaccine during pregnancy is a newer recommendation, primarily given to protect the newborn from severe RSV infection. Doctors usually advise it in the third trimester, between 32 and 36 weeks. Talk to your Gynae about it; they will explain the benefits and the best timing for you based on your medical history and local guidelines. You'll make the right choice.
