When to announce pregnancy on social media?

My husband and I just found out we're expecting our first baby, and we are so excited! We want to share the news with everyone, especially on social media. When is the best time to announce pregnancy on social media, after the first trimester, or later?

Oh, this is less about symptoms, but I'd say wait until you're past the first trimester, maybe around 12 weeks. That's when the risk of miscarriage significantly drops. Also, make sure all your close family and friends know first in person, not from a Facebook post! My friend announced too early and had complications, it was tough.

From a practical standpoint, most people wait until after the first trimester, around 12-14 weeks. This is because the risk of early miscarriage is much lower then. Also, it gives you time to process the news and share it with close family personally before it goes public.

This is a personal choice, but most people wait till the first trimester is over, so around 3 months. The initial period is delicate. You tell your close ones first, then think about social media. This is not about any serious health symptom so no doctor needed for this decision.

This isn't a health query that needs a doctor, but generally, people wait until after the first trimester. Don't trust random internet advice on your pregnancy, including when to announce it. Make sure you're comfortable and your close ones know first. Social media can wait.

Haha, I say announce it after the first trimester, when you're done with all the morning sickness and food aversions, and can finally enjoy some good food again! 😉 Seriously though, most people wait till around 12-14 weeks, once the higher risk period passes. It's your news, share it when you feel ready!

I'd say wait until after your first trimester scans are done and you've had a confirmation from the doctor that everything is progressing well. It saves you from potential heartache later, and also, gives you time to plan financially for all the upcoming tests and baby essentials without public pressure.

This is a joyful moment, to be savored. It is wise to wait until after the first three months when the pregnancy is more stable. Share the news first with those closest to your heart. Keep positive energy around you and your growing baby. Social media can wait; your peace of mind is more important.

Uff, social media! I announced my first pregnancy early and then had to deal with so many questions when things didn't go smoothly. For the second, I waited until after 3 months. Let's just say it's less stress on the already tired mom-to-be. Keep it to yourself until you're ready for the world's unsolicited advice!

I just went through this! My husband and I waited until we had our 12-week scan and everything looked good. It just felt safer and gave us more confidence to share. Plus, we got to tell our immediate families face-to-face first, which was really special. Don't rush it!

It's totally okay to feel anxious about when to announce! Many people wait until the first trimester is over, around 12-14 weeks, because the risk of miscarriage decreases significantly after that. It gives you some peace of mind. Share it when *you* feel most comfortable and ready, not pressured by others or social media trends.
