When should you stop sleeping on your stomach in pregnancy?

I'm about four months pregnant, and I usually sleep on my stomach, which is becoming uncomfortable. At what stage of pregnancy is it recommended to stop sleeping on your stomach?

You should definitely start changing positions once your bump begins to show, usually around the second trimester. Sleeping on your back or stomach can press on major blood vessels and reduce blood flow to the baby. Side sleeping, especially on your left, is best for you and baby.

Hmm, I think once your stomach starts getting bigger, like maybe second trimester? My sister used a body pillow to help her sleep on her side. She said sleeping on the stomach gets super uncomfortable anyway after a point.

Honestly, the moment that bump pops out and you feel uncomfortable! 😂 For me, it was around 16-20 weeks. Sleeping becomes a whole new adventure with pregnancy pillows, trying to find a comfortable position. Just switch to your side, ideally left, when you can.

Jab pet thoda bahar aane lage, lagbhag chaar-paanch mahine mein, tab hi pet ke bal sona chhod dena chahiye. Sidhe letne se bhi bachna. Karwat le kar so, khaas kar left side. Bachche ke liye achha hota hai.

I've read that from the second trimester onwards, it's best to avoid sleeping on your back and stomach. The expanding uterus can put pressure on blood vessels. So side sleeping is generally recommended. It's a pretty common recommendation across many health sites.

Most pregnancy apps and health trackers will tell you to switch to side sleeping by the second trimester, usually from around 20 weeks. Sleeping on your stomach becomes impractical anyway, and back sleeping can reduce blood flow. Invest in a good pregnancy pillow, it makes a huge difference!

Yaar, as soon as you feel uncomfortable, which is usually in the second trimester, you should stop. Actually, doctors recommend side sleeping for better blood flow. My wife got a huge body pillow for this. So, when the bump shows, switch sides, bro.

This isn't about diet, but it's important. Once your belly starts growing, typically around 4-5 months, you should avoid sleeping on your stomach. It's not just uncomfortable but can also restrict blood flow. Sleeping on your left side is generally recommended for optimal baby health. Always focus on gentle, nourishing habits for the baby's well-being.
