When should i start eating dates during pregnancy?

My mother-in-law keeps telling me to eat dates for an easier delivery. I'm in my third trimester now, so when is it generally recommended to start eating dates during pregnancy? Is there a specific week?

Honestly, I ignored a lot of small advice during my first pregnancy, and then regretted it later. For dates, I've heard it's usually suggested in the last trimester, around week 36 onwards. It's supposed to help with labor. But definitely ask your doctor first, because every pregnancy is different. Don't just follow internet advice like I used to.

We had some complications with my wife's pregnancy, so we became very cautious about everything. Regarding dates, the doctor advised starting around the 36th week, but in controlled amounts due to the sugar content. It's really important to discuss this with your gynaecologist, especially if you have gestational diabetes or any other health concern.

Dates are super nutritious, yes! But for pregnancy, I was advised to start them closer to my due date, around the 36th week. They are a good source of natural sugars and energy. Just make sure you don't overdo it, as they are high in calories. A few a day is usually enough, but confirm with your doctor first.

Hmm, dates for pregnancy? My sister started eating them quite late, like in the last month only, she said her doc told her to. I guess it's for delivery prep. I don't know much, but maybe just ask your doc? Don't want to eat anything that might mess things up early on, right?

Most pregnancy apps and health articles suggest starting dates in the third trimester, specifically from week 36 or 37. They say it helps ripen the cervix for an easier delivery. I tracked my intake with an app too. It's a natural way to potentially ease labor, but always cross-check with your doctor's recommendation, as they know your specific health profile.

Dates are great! 🤩 I've heard most people start having them from week 36 onwards in pregnancy. It's supposed to help make delivery a bit smoother. But definitely ask your gynaecologist what's right for YOU! They'll give the best advice. Good luck! ✨

My wife ate dates only in the very last few weeks of her pregnancy. Her gynaecologist recommended it then, saying it helps with labor. Not before that. So I think wait for the last trimester, man. Don't start too early without checking with your doctor.
