If the liver is building fluid, especially in the abdomen (ascites), it means the liver is very sick. Some natural remedies can support liver health generally, but for fluid retention, you must see a doctor immediately. This is not a small problem; it needs proper medical treatment.

The liver can cause fluid buildup, known as ascites, when it's not working properly, usually in cases of severe liver disease like cirrhosis. It makes your tummy look bloated, not like the good kind of food baby bloat! It's serious, so definitely needs a doctor, not just a diet change.

Hey! Don't stress too much, but if the liver starts causing fluid retention, it's usually a sign of a serious liver problem, like cirrhosis. The fluid builds up mostly in the abdomen, making it swell. It means your liver isn't doing its job well, so you really need to see a doctor quickly, okay?

When the liver is severely damaged, like in advanced cirrhosis, it can't regulate fluids properly, leading to fluid accumulation, often in the belly (ascites). This is a serious condition. If you or someone you know has symptoms like a distended abdomen or swelling in legs, please consult a gastroenterologist or liver specialist immediately. It needs careful medical attention.

I just went through this! My liver was causing fluid buildup, called ascites, because of liver cirrhosis. My belly became very swollen and uncomfortable. It was a sign of advanced liver damage, and I needed diuretics and proper medical management. You need to see a hepatologist immediately if you suspect this.

Fluid buildup from the liver, known as ascites, is a major symptom of end-stage liver disease like cirrhosis. The liver can't produce enough proteins or filter fluids effectively. It leads to swelling in the abdomen and sometimes legs. It's a critical situation and requires immediate medical intervention, often diuretics and other treatments under strict medical supervision.
