When is your first pregnancy appointment?

My husband and I just found out I'm pregnant, and we're super excited but also a bit overwhelmed. We've heard we need to schedule a first appointment with a doctor. Roughly when does that first pregnancy appointment usually take place?

I totally get the excitement and questions around this! Generally, your first prenatal appointment is scheduled when you're around 8 to 12 weeks pregnant. This is after you've confirmed your pregnancy with a home test and possibly a blood test. It's a big milestone!

Many blessings on this beautiful journey. Your first appointment is usually between 8-12 weeks after your last period. It's a time for joy and care. Remember to stay positive and trust in the divine process.

The first appointment usually happens around 8-10 weeks! Honestly, by then, you'll probably be so tired from morning sickness and general exhaustion that you'll just be glad to sit down! 😂 But it's an exciting step towards meeting the little one!

Once you've confirmed pregnancy, doctors usually schedule the first prenatal visit between 8 to 12 weeks from your last menstrual period. Don't worry, they'll guide you through everything. Just make sure you call your gynae as soon as you know.

My cousin just had her first baby! Her first doc appointment was around 8-10 weeks after her last period. Like, after she did the home test and everything. So, you usually wait a bit after finding out, I guess.
