When is too soon for a pregnancy test?

I'm experiencing some symptoms that make me think I might be pregnant, but my period is only due in a few days. My friend said testing early can give a false negative. How soon is too soon to take a pregnancy test and expect an accurate result?

Hey! Most pregnancy tests suggest waiting until you've missed your period for the most accurate result. My health app usually reminds me around that time. Before that, the HCG levels might be too low to detect properly.

Honestly, wait for your missed period. Don't waste money on tests before then. You'll just get a negative and unnecessary stress. Give it a few days after your period is due.

From my experience, taking it too early is just disappointing. Even if you use a 'early detection' test, it might be inaccurate. Best to wait at least 7-10 days past your missed period. That gives your body enough time.

Oh, the anticipation! ✨ Most kits say to wait till your period is late. If you test too early, you might get a false negative and then worry for nothing. Better to be patient! 😊

My friend's girlfriend tried like, super early, and it was negative, then a week later, positive. So, I guess waiting till after your period is definitely missed is the way to go. Otherwise, it's just confusion.

My wife and I went through this! We tried testing a few days before her period, but it was negative. Waited till a week after it was due, and then got a clear positive. So, save yourself the stress and wait a bit. It’s more reliable that way.
