When is rhogam given in pregnancy?

My doctor mentioned something about Rhogam for my pregnancy because of my blood type. I forgot to ask exactly when it's given, can someone please tell me?

My sister got Rhogam when she was pregnant, I remember. She's Rh-negative. They gave her one shot around 28 weeks, and then another one after the baby was born because the baby was positive. It's pretty standard procedure if your blood type is different from the baby's.

Rhogam, haan, I remember that from my times. It is usually given around 28 weeks of pregnancy if the mother is Rh-negative, and then again after delivery if the baby is Rh-positive. My doctor gave it to me, and everything was fine. Don't worry, the doctors know what they are doing for safe delivery.

I'm new to this topic. Is Rhogam always given to every pregnant woman, or only if there's a specific blood type difference? I'm a bit confused. I heard it's given around the seventh month, but are there other times too?

Oh, Rhogam! I learned about this in biology class. It's given to Rh-negative pregnant women, right? Like, around 28 weeks of pregnancy, and then again postpartum if needed. It prevents complications for future pregnancies. Super interesting stuff.

Rhogam is usually given to Rh-negative mothers around 28 weeks of pregnancy and then after delivery, if the baby is Rh-positive. This is a very specific medical intervention, so please do not self-diagnose or speculate. Always follow your gynecologist's precise instructions. I once ignored a minor issue and regretted it, so always urge a checkup for these things.
