When is gender determined in pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first child and everyone keeps asking if we know the gender. We haven't had a scan yet. I want to understand more about fetal development. When is the baby's gender biologically determined during pregnancy?

The baby's gender is determined at conception itself, when the sperm fertilizes the egg. You usually find out around 18-20 weeks during the ultrasound. I always felt a little anxious waiting to know, did anyone else feel that way?

The gender is determined at the moment of conception, how cool is that! ✨ You can usually find out during the mid-pregnancy ultrasound, around 18-20 weeks. Such an exciting moment for parents-to-be! 😊

The gender is actually determined at the very start, at conception, by the chromosomes. We usually find out during the mid-pregnancy ultrasound around 18-20 weeks. While many people ask about home remedies for various things, for gender determination, it's purely scientific. Just be patient, and the doctor will tell you when they can see it.

The gender of the baby is determined at conception itself, when the egg is fertilized by the sperm. It's a genetic process. While a healthy diet, especially a vegetarian one, is vital for the baby's development, it doesn't impact the gender. You usually learn about it during the anomaly scan around 18-20 weeks.
