When is a good time to take a pregnancy test?

I've missed my period by a few days, and I'm feeling a bit nauseous. I'm wondering if I should take a pregnancy test right away or wait a little longer to get a more accurate result.

Most apps recommend waiting until at least one day after your missed period for the most accurate results. Some super sensitive tests might show earlier, but waiting a bit reduces false negatives. Always use first morning urine for the best concentration of hCG.

I know they say wait until after a missed period, but the waiting makes me so anxious! I always end up testing a day or two before. Has anyone else gotten a positive early result like that, or is it better to just force myself to wait?

It's usually best to take it after you've missed your period, especially with your first morning urine. That way, the results are more reliable.

My advice would be to wait until your period is actually late. Don't rush it, otherwise you might just waste a test and get confused. First thing in the morning is always best for accuracy. If still unsure, a blood test at the lab is more reliable.

To get the most accurate reading, wait until you've missed your period by at least a day or two. And use your first morning urine because the hormone levels are highest then. If you're feeling stressed, maybe a light walk can help, but don't overdo it.

From my own experience, waiting until at least a day after your expected period is key. Doing it earlier can just give you a false negative and more anxiety. Use the first pee of the day, as the hormone is most concentrated. If it's negative but you still feel off, wait a few days and test again.

Honestly, everyone says wait for a missed period, like a day or two after. Don't waste your money on those early detection ones unless you really can't wait. And use the morning pee, apparently it's more accurate. My friends all swear by this.
