When does tiredness in pregnancy stop?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and still feel like I could sleep all day. My mother-in-law said it should have stopped by now. Is there a typical point when the pregnancy tiredness finally goes away?

The intense fatigue often seen in the first trimester typically lessens significantly by the second trimester, around weeks 12-14, as hormone levels stabilize. However, some women may experience renewed tiredness in the third trimester. It's a fluctuating thing for many.

So, is it true that most people feel better by the second trimester, like the tiredness goes away? I'm in my first trimester and the exhaustion is really getting to me. Does it really get easier after week 12?

For me, the extreme tiredness started easing up around week 14, in the second trimester. I tried everything – more rest, light walks, staying hydrated. While it mostly got better, a little fatigue did come back in the last month. Just be kind to yourself and don't push it.

Many of the pregnancy apps indicate that the severe first-trimester fatigue tends to improve significantly in the second trimester, specifically between weeks 12-14. That's when most feel a 'burst of energy'. But always track your own symptoms and rest when needed.
