When does throwing up start during pregnancy?

I just found out I'm pregnant, and I'm dreading morning sickness, especially the throwing up part. I want to be prepared. When does throwing up typically start during pregnancy?

Morning sickness, which includes throwing up, typically starts around week 6 of pregnancy and can sometimes be earlier or later. It's often linked to hormonal changes. Eating small, frequent, bland meals helped me, focusing on fresh veggies and fruits that didn't trigger nausea.

Often, morning sickness begins around week 6, and it's not just in the morning! Ginger tea or plain crackers can sometimes help. But if the vomiting is severe and you can't keep anything down, please see a doctor immediately, don't just rely on home tips.

I've heard it can start as early as week 4 or 5, but usually around week 6. Is it true that some women don't get morning sickness at all? My wife is pregnant and I'm really anxious about her feeling too sick.

Oh, the throwing up... it started with my wife around week 6. And it was NOT just in the mornings, trust me! It felt like a never-ending saga. We're still recovering from the memory, haha. Hang in there if you're going through it!
