When does pregnancy rhinitis start?

My nose has been so blocked and I'm sneezing a lot lately, but I don't have a cold. Someone said it could be pregnancy rhinitis. When does this usually begin in pregnancy?

Oh, pregnancy rhinitis. I remember that! For me, it started somewhere in the second trimester, I think. It's quite common, beta, so don't worry too much. Just keep your nasal passages clean, maybe try some steam.

Hi! Pregnancy rhinitis can actually start pretty early, even in the first trimester for some. It's due to increased hormones and blood flow. Keep a humidifier at home and try saline nasal sprays, they really help without any meds.

Haan, pregnancy rhinitis... I remember my wife sneezing all the time. She craved spicy food then, maybe that made it worse, lol. But seriously, small sips of warm water and some ginger tea seemed to help her thoda. Hydration is important, no?

Mine hit me hard around week 10-12 and stayed till delivery, honestly. It's annoying but mostly harmless. My gynaec said to avoid allergens, use saline wash regularly, and sleep with your head slightly elevated. Consistency is key!

It's all those hormonal changes, right? For my sister, it was around the 2nd trimester. She focused on staying active with light walks and drinking lots of water. Said it helped keep her overall system clearer, including the stuffy nose.

Oh my god, I thought I was getting a cold all the time! My nose feels constantly blocked, and I'm only in my first trimester, around week 8. Is it really rhinitis already? Did anyone else experience it so early?

It varies for everyone, but hormonal fluctuations definitely play a big role, just like they do with thyroid. Make sure you're discussing all your symptoms with your doctor, including this rhinitis, to rule out anything else and get proper guidance.
