When does period weight gain start?

Every month before my period, I feel so bloated and my clothes feel tighter. Is this normal? I just want to know when this period weight gain usually starts, so I can mentally prepare myself.

I've been wondering this too! From what I've seen and read, it usually starts a few days before your period is due, maybe like 5-7 days before. It's mostly water retention, right? Our bodies are so complex!

For me, the bloat and feeling heavier would start almost a week before my period! It was so annoying. My doctor explained it's due to hormonal changes, especially progesterone. It's temporary though, don't worry.

I used to feel so down about that period weight gain, thinking I was gaining actual fat. But then I realized it's mostly water and it starts usually a week or so before your period. It's okay to feel sensitive about it, just remember it's temporary and your body is doing its thing.

Oh, the period weight gain always makes me anxious! It usually starts a few days before my period, maybe 5-7 days prior, with the bloating. It's completely normal, even though it feels frustrating. Just know you're not alone in feeling this.

The temporary weight gain, mostly water retention and bloating, usually starts about a week before your period is expected. It's a normal part of the hormonal changes leading up to menstruation.

Period-related weight gain, often due to water retention and bloating, typically starts in the days leading up to menstruation. For those managing blood sugar, it's particularly important to maintain a stable diet and hydration during this pre-period phase, as hormonal fluctuations can sometimes impact glucose levels. Always mindful eating.

Period-related weight gain, largely water retention, often kicks in about 5-7 days before your period. It's a temporary hormonal thing. Good to know this so you don't panic and think you're gaining actual fat. No need for expensive diets or tests for this, just patience.

My mother used to say our bodies become a bit heavy before periods, but it's not real weight. It usually starts about a week before your period, with the bloating. If it feels too much, better to speak to a doctor, just to be sure there's nothing else.

The body experiences subtle changes before menstruation, and this includes some water retention, which can feel like weight gain. It usually begins a few days, sometimes up to a week, before your period. Embrace these natural cycles with calm and positivity, and always nurture your body.

I'm still learning about all this. Does it mean like, you feel bloated and a bit heavier a few days before your period? Is it always bloating or can it be other things too?
