When does frequent urination in pregnancy begin?

I've just found out I'm expecting and I'm noticing I have to pee much more often than before, almost every hour! Is this something that happens early in pregnancy, and when does this frequent urination usually begin?

Frequent urination during pregnancy usually starts quite early, often in the first trimester, around 6-8 weeks, because of hormonal changes and increased blood volume. Then it can ease in the second, but returns in the third due to baby pressure. The practical solution is always to know where the washroom is, and don't reduce water intake; that's important.

Frequent urination is definitely an early pregnancy symptom, usually starting around 6-8 weeks in the first trimester. It might lessen in the second, but it's back with a vengeance in the third. Realistically, plan your meetings and travel knowing you'll need frequent restroom breaks. Don't restrict fluids, that's counterproductive.

My dear, frequent urination in pregnancy can begin quite early, sometimes as soon as 6-8 weeks into the first trimester, and then again in the third trimester. My mother always said it's a sign of a healthy pregnancy, but for proper understanding and if it becomes bothersome, it's best to discuss it with your gynecologist. Trust your doctor's advice.

Frequent urination is a well-known early pregnancy symptom, typically starting around 6-8 weeks. It's due to hormonal changes and increased blood flow. While it's generally normal, if it's accompanied by pain or burning, that's when you must see a doctor to rule out a UTI, don't just rely on internet tips. Always verify with a medical professional.

It's totally normal to feel a bit anxious about new symptoms during pregnancy, especially frequent urination! It usually kicks in quite early, around 6-8 weeks in the first trimester, then often eases a bit in the second, only to return in the third. Just know it's a very common and normal part of the process. If it's painful though, please see a doctor.

Oh god, frequent urination! My wife said it started almost immediately, like from 6-7 weeks she was running to the bathroom constantly. And it literally never stopped, even in the second trimester it just got less often. Prepare for interrupted sleep, haha!

Frequent urination usually starts very early in pregnancy, around 6-8 weeks in the first trimester, due to hormonal shifts and increased blood volume. It's generally normal. However, if you have other health conditions like thyroid issues, it's always good to mention this to your doctor. Regular follow-ups and tests ensure everything is on track, and they can rule out anything else causing excessive urination, like a UTI.
