When does appetite increase in pregnancy?

I'm still struggling with morning sickness and actually losing my appetite. My mother keeps telling me soon I'll be eating for two and my appetite will increase. When does appetite usually increase in pregnancy?

Haan, that famous hunger! For me, after the morning sickness stopped in the first trimester, like around 12-14 weeks, suddenly I wanted to eat everything! It was crazy, na? But then you have to eat healthy things.

Aiyo, it was like a switch flipped for me! First few months, nothing. Then suddenly, around the fourth month, my appetite became very good. Wanted to eat all the time. Just make sure to eat good food for the baby.

My wife is pregnant now, and her appetite actually dipped in the first few weeks due to nausea. But now, in her second trimester, she's constantly hungry, especially for specific things! I think it varies, but second trimester seems common for increase.

Post the initial nausea, typically in the second trimester, your body's energy demands go up, so appetite naturally increases. It's a good time to focus on nutrient-dense foods rather than just cravings. Small, balanced meals help keep energy levels steady.

Usually, after the first three months are over and morning sickness goes down, appetite comes back with full force. It's your body telling you to eat for two, but remember to eat healthy, not just anything. Don't overdo it, okay?

I was tracking my partner's pregnancy, and her appetite really picked up in the second trimester. It makes sense as the baby is growing rapidly. We used an app to ensure she was getting enough calories and nutrients. It really helps to monitor.

I was so worried when I had no appetite in the first trimester. But then suddenly, around the second trimester, I became super hungry all the time! It's totally normal for it to pick up then as your body needs more energy. Don't panic if it's not immediate.
