When do you take glucose test in pregnancy?

My gynecologist told me I'll need a glucose test soon. When is the standard time during pregnancy to take the glucose tolerance test?

It's generally done between 24 to 28 weeks of pregnancy to screen for gestational diabetes. Your doctor will give you exact instructions, including whether you need to fast and what to expect during the test. It's a standard part of prenatal care.

Typically, the glucose challenge test or oral glucose tolerance test is performed during the second trimester, usually between weeks 24 and 28. It's a routine screening to check for gestational diabetes. Your doctor will guide you.

Oh, the sweet drink test! 🍹 Most doctors schedule it between week 24 and 28 of your pregnancy. It's a quick check to make sure everything is good with your sugar levels! Don't stress, it's very common! 😊

For my wife, because she had a family history of diabetes, her doctor advised the glucose test around 24 weeks. It's important, just like monitoring BP, to keep track of these things. Regular checkups are a must for a healthy pregnancy.

Haan, the glucose test happens usually around 6-7 months, like 24 to 28 weeks, na? They make you drink that sugary water. It's just a routine check, nothing to worry too much about. My doctor said it's very common.
