I'm expecting my second baby and feel like I'm already looking bigger than I did at this stage with my first. Is it common to start showing earlier with a second pregnancy? If so, when does that typically happen?

For my second pregnancy, I felt like I started showing much earlier, maybe around 12-14 weeks! My fitness tracker showed my core measurements increasing even before I could see it properly. It's because your body kinda remembers from the first time.

My older sister said for her second baby, she started showing like, super quick! She was barely out of her first trimester and already had a noticeable bump. Guess every pregnancy is different though.

Honestly, I think my wife started showing early in her second because of all the cravings we indulged in! 😂 Jokes aside, she did feel her belly was popping out sooner. Maybe all that extra yummy food helped it along!

My doctor explained that with a second pregnancy, your abdominal muscles have already been stretched, so they tend to relax and show the bump earlier. It can be as early as 10-12 weeks for some, whereas for the first, it's often closer to 16-20 weeks. So it's totally normal to see changes sooner this time.
