When do you pop during pregnancy?

I'm getting bigger, but my mom keeps saying I'll 'pop' soon and my bump will really stand out. This is my first pregnancy, so I'm not sure what to expect. When does this 'popping' usually happen?

For most, a noticeable bump appears between 16 to 20 weeks, especially in a first pregnancy. However, if you feel your bump is significantly smaller or larger than expected, or if you have any concerns about baby's growth, it's crucial to consult your doctor for a check-up.

It varies. First pregnancy, usually by the 4th or 5th month you'll start showing. Second pregnancy, often earlier as your body has done it before. Don't stress too much comparing, just make sure you're getting regular check-ups and eating well. Time flies, enjoy the journey.

In my experience, with my first baby, I didn't really start showing until around 20 weeks. People just thought I had a big lunch before that! But with my second, it was much faster, like 14-16 weeks. Everyone is different, so don't compare your bump to others. Focus on comfort and healthy eating.

Haha, 'pop'! Love that term! My wife was like, 'is this a food baby or real baby?' for a while. For her, the definite 'pop' happened around month 5, that's when everyone started noticing. Before that, it was just a secret between us and her trousers. Don't worry, it'll pop when it's ready!

Just went through this! With my first, it was around 20-22 weeks when I finally looked pregnant and not just bloated. With my second, the bump showed up so much faster, probably by 16 weeks. It's exciting when it starts to show!

My wife showed around 4-5 months, mostly in the second trimester. It often appears earlier in second or subsequent pregnancies. For us, managing her BP was crucial throughout, which also meant regular monitoring of baby's growth. Proper diet and timely checkups are important, no matter when the bump starts showing.
