When do you feel kicks in pregnancy?

Been waiting to feel my baby's kicks! I'm in my second trimester now. When do expectant mothers usually start feeling definite kicks rather than just flutters?

The stronger kicks usually start becoming noticeable after the initial 'flutters'. For first-time moms, this is typically around 22-24 weeks, but for subsequent pregnancies, it can be earlier, even 18-20 weeks. Every pregnancy is unique, so don't compare too much. Just enjoy the feeling!

For me, the actual 'kicks' felt really distinct around 22 weeks with my first. Before that, it was just gentle movements. With my second, I felt them much earlier, maybe 19 weeks. It's a wonderful feeling, very reassuring.

My wife felt proper kicks around 20-22 weeks with our first. She was also monitoring her blood pressure closely then. It's important to keep up with your regular checkups and maintain a healthy lifestyle, along with enjoying these moments. Don't skip your doctor's visits.

The feeling of kicks is subjective, and timing varies significantly. While it's exciting, rely on your prenatal appointments and ultrasound scans for accurate information on baby's movement and health, rather than just comparing with others' experiences. Your doctor will tell you what's normal for you.

The first time I felt proper kicks was around 21 weeks. My doctor at Apollo Hospital told me to keep track of the movements once they become regular. If you have any doubts about the strength or frequency of kicks, immediately call your doctor. They can guide you best.

Usually, after the fifth month, you start feeling the baby's movements clearly, like small taps or kicks. My mother used to say to lie down and relax, sometimes talking to the baby helps it move. But if you are worried, always ask the doctor, they know best.

The baby's kicks are a beautiful reminder of the life unfolding within you. These stronger movements usually become distinct in the second trimester, guiding you to a deeper connection. Trust the process, nurture your spirit, and maintain a peaceful mind. All will be well.

I'm 21 weeks and sometimes I feel little thumps but not super strong kicks yet. Is that normal? I worry if the baby is moving enough. Did anyone else feel just gentle movements around this time before stronger kicks started?

My sister felt consistent strong kicks around 22 weeks. Keeping your diet balanced and having enough energy can sometimes make the baby more active. Just make sure you're eating healthy, especially enough iron and protein. But for serious concerns, always check with the doctor.

When do you feel kicks? When your little one decides to practice for the FIFA World Cup inside you! Haha. Seriously though, my wife started feeling proper kicks around 20-22 weeks. It's like a tiny party in there. Enjoy the show!

Yaar, for my wife, proper kicks started around 20-21 weeks. Before that, it was just like a fish swimming, you know? But actual kicks, where you can feel them from outside also, that was a bit later. Actually, it's different for every pregnancy.

The perception of fetal movement, including kicks, typically progresses from subtle flutters to more distinct movements. For most primigravidas (first-time mothers), this occurs between 20-24 weeks. It's crucial to discuss the pattern and frequency of movements with your obstetrician, as their advice is paramount.

With PCOS, every pregnancy can be a bit different, and it's easy to get anxious about milestones. I started feeling definite kicks around 23 weeks. It's good to be aware, but remember that the exact timing can vary. If you have any specific concerns, talk to your gynae, they are the best resource.

With my first, it was around 22 weeks when the kicks became strong and consistent. With my second, I felt them clearly by 19 weeks. If you want to feel them, try lying on your left side after a meal; babies tend to be more active then. Don't panic if it's a bit later than others, it's normal.
