When do you feel flutters in pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first baby and so excited to feel the movements! My mother-in-law said I'll feel 'flutters' first. Around what week do pregnant women typically start feeling these?

Most first-time moms usually start feeling those first subtle flutters, often described like gas bubbles or butterfly wings, between 18-25 weeks. For subsequent pregnancies, it can be earlier, even 16 weeks. It's a beautiful milestone!

My bahu felt them around 20 weeks with her first one. It's like a soft ghabrahat inside. Some say drinking a glass of cold water or lying down quietly can help you feel it more. It's a beautiful feeling, just be patient. Always talk to the doctor for any major worries, beta.

While many describe it as flutters or bubbles, it's very subjective and not a medical diagnosis. The timing varies widely. If you're concerned about fetal movement, discuss it directly with your gynecologist during your prenatal check-ups. Don't rely on anecdotes.

Aww, the flutters are the best! Don't stress too much if you haven't felt them yet. Most first-timers feel them around 18-20 weeks, sometimes even a bit later. It's like tiny little bubbles. You'll know when it happens, it's so special!

As a working professional, I often missed subtle signs initially. Flutters usually begin between 18-25 weeks for first pregnancies. It's easy to mistake them for gas. Once you start noticing them consistently, it's a good time to mention it at your next doctor's appointment.

I had a complicated pregnancy, so I was always very aware of every little sign. While flutters typically start mid-second trimester (18-25 weeks), if you are much beyond this and feel no movement at all, please consult your doctor immediately. Better safe than sorry.
