When do people start showing pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first baby, and I'm about 10 weeks along. My belly doesn't look much different yet. When do women usually start showing their pregnancy? I'm excited for a baby bump!

Generally, for first-time moms, a visible bump appears around 16-20 weeks. For subsequent pregnancies, it might be earlier. Don't rush to buy maternity clothes too soon, better to plan your budget for essential scans and checkups first. Those costs can add up!

I'm 13 weeks and still just feel bloated, no proper bump. Is this normal? I see other pregnant women on social media showing so early. Did anyone else worry about not 'showing' enough at this stage?

From what I understand, for many women, a noticeable baby bump appears around 16-20 weeks, especially in first pregnancies. However, it can really vary depending on body type and if it's a second or third pregnancy. Just remember every body is unique, so try not to compare.

Most women will start showing sometime in their second trimester, typically between 12 and 18 weeks. If it's your first baby, it might be a bit later, as your abdominal muscles are tighter. Everyone's body is different, so don't worry if yours is a bit earlier or later than others.
