When do most people announce pregnancy?

My husband and I are expecting, and we're debating when to share the news with everyone. When do most people usually announce their pregnancy? Is there a 'right' time?

Honestly, there's no fixed rule but many wait till the first trimester is over, around 12-14 weeks. Less risk after that. But don't just go by what randos on the internet say, check with your gynaecologist for proper advice.

Most people I know wait till they've crossed the 12-week mark. It's when the critical development is mostly done. Important to keep up with your nutrition and light exercise, if cleared by doc, during this time too!

Typically, the second trimester, around week 12-14, is when people start telling others. I've seen in some pregnancy apps that they even have features to track when you might want to announce. It's a personal choice ultimately.

Many find peace in waiting until the end of the first trimester, when the risk period has significantly passed. It's a very personal journey, so listen to your inner voice and do what feels right for you and your family. Remember to breathe and stay calm.

Usually, after the first three months are completed. That's what my doctor always advised, as the initial period can be a bit tricky. Better to be safe and confirm everything is stable with your doctor first before sharing widely.
