When do mood swings begin in pregnancy?

I just found out I'm pregnant and I'm a bit worried about mood swings. My friend said they can be quite intense. When do mood swings usually begin during pregnancy?

Haha, for some, it's like a welcome wagon of emotions right from the first trimester! 🎢 All those hormones just go wild. Totally normal, though! Just breathe and remember it's temporary. 😉

Mood swings can actually begin quite early in pregnancy, sometimes even before you miss your period. It's largely due to hormonal changes. It reminds me of how hormones affect my thyroid too. Always good to keep your doctor informed about any significant emotional shifts during pregnancy.

My bhabhi just went through this! She said they hit her pretty hard in the first trimester, and then again a bit in the third. It's mostly the hormones doing their dance. Being extra patient with yourself and communicating with your partner helps a lot.

Mood swings typically begin very early in pregnancy, often in the first trimester, driven by rapidly increasing hormone levels like hCG and progesterone. They can even be an early symptom for some. It's a physiological response, so it's normal.
