When do feet swell in pregnancy?

My mother-in-law said her feet swelled a lot during her pregnancies. I'm in my fifth month and haven't noticed much yet, but I'm curious when feet usually swell in pregnancy for most women.

Feet swelling, yaani edema, usually starts in the second trimester, around 20-25 weeks, and can get worse in the third. It's due to increased blood volume and pressure on veins. It's common, but if it's sudden or severe, talk to your doctor immediately, okay?

Ah, the famous pregnancy feet! They basically decide to go on a 'swelling tour' of your body sometime in the second or third trimester. Don't worry, it's just your body preparing to handle double the workload. Just means more comfy chappals for a while!

Foot swelling typically begins in the second or third trimester. As a busy professional, I'd suggest simple, time-efficient remedies: elevate your legs during breaks, stay hydrated, and choose comfortable footwear. If it's sudden or excessive, don't delay a doctor's visit.

My doctor explained that mild swelling in the feet and ankles, medically known as edema, is very common starting from the second trimester, around week 20, and often becomes more noticeable in the third. It's due to increased blood volume and pressure from the growing uterus on pelvic veins. However, rapid or severe swelling, especially in hands or face, needs immediate medical attention.

Ho na, generally feet swelling starts in the middle to late part of pregnancy, like second or third trimester. It can be a bit uncomfortable. Just try to keep your feet up, aur paani bohot piyo.
