A chemical pregnancy happens very early, often before you even miss your period or just after. It's when an egg is fertilized, but it doesn't implant properly or stops developing very early. It can be heartbreaking, but it doesn't mean you can't have a successful pregnancy later. Be kind to yourself.

They happen really early, like within the first few weeks after conception. You might get a faint positive on a home test, but then your period comes shortly after. It's tough, but it's common and usually means nothing is wrong with your ability to conceive.

Chemical pregnancies occur very early, sometimes so early you might just think it's a late period. This is why some people prefer to wait a bit longer to test, to avoid the emotional and even financial cost of early positive tests and then disappointment.

I just had a chemical pregnancy last month. I got a positive test, but then my period started just a few days late, and the lines got fainter. It's a very early miscarriage, and it can feel really confusing and sad. My doctor said it's common.

It's completely valid to feel anxious and confused about these things. A chemical pregnancy basically means the pregnancy didn't progress beyond very early implantation. It happens so early that many women don't even realize they were pregnant. It's common and doesn't mean anything is inherently wrong with you.
