When can i take a pregnancy test after plan b?

I took Plan B a few days ago, and now I'm super anxious about whether it worked. When can I take a pregnancy test to get an accurate result? I really need to know if I'm pregnant or not.

Hey, I actually looked this up for a friend once. From what I remember, you should wait at least a week after your missed period, or about 2-3 weeks after taking Plan B. The test needs enough HCG hormone to show up, and it takes time to build up if you are pregnant. Better safe than sorry!

For accurate results, wait at least 7 days after your expected period. If your period still doesn't come after that, take another test. Don't test too early, you'll just get a false negative and more stress. If still confused, just call your doc.

Achha, after taking such medicines, your cycle might get a bit disturbed. Don't worry too much, but for testing, it's best to wait until your period is actually late, say, by a week. If you test too early, it might not show correctly. If still no period, then see a doctor for sure.

The simple rule is to wait for your next period. If it's delayed by a week or more after when it was supposed to come, then take a home pregnancy test. If that's also positive or you're still worried, then go to a clinic. Don't overthink it, just follow the simple steps.

My daughter had a similar situation, and her doctor told her to wait until she missed her period by at least a week. Plan B can sometimes mess with your cycle a bit. If you test too soon, it might not be accurate. If the test is negative but your period still doesn't arrive, take another one a few days later, or just consult your doctor.

While you're waiting, try to keep stress levels down; maybe a light walk or some stretches can help. For the test, it's generally advised to wait for your period to be officially late, around 1-2 weeks after the expected date. Testing too early can give misleading results, so better to be patient.
