What you cannot eat during pregnancy?

I just found out I'm pregnant and I'm so excited, but also a bit overwhelmed! My mother-in-law gave me a big list of dos and don'ts, but I want to be sure about what I absolutely cannot eat during pregnancy. Any common Indian foods to avoid?

This is such an important question for expecting moms. There's a lot to keep in mind.

Oh, the list feels longer than what you CAN eat sometimes, doesn't it? My cravings for sushi during pregnancy were a real struggle! Best to check with your doc, they usually give a clear list.

Totally agree with the concerns. Raw seafood and unpasteurized dairy are usually on the no-go list.

During my pregnancy, I focused on sattvic foods, light and fresh. Avoided raw fish, unpasteurized milk, and too much caffeine. Listening to your body and your doctor is key for peace of mind.

It's so confusing, right? And sometimes docs recommend expensive 'special' foods too. For me, it was just easier to stick to home-cooked, well-done food to avoid any issues or extra medical bills later. Better to be safe.
