What to take for headache during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and have been getting really bad headaches. I'm scared to take anything too strong. What can I take for headaches during pregnancy that is safe for me and the baby?

Oh, I remember those pregnancy headaches! They were just awful and made me feel so miserable and helpless. It's tough when you can't take much. Sending you strength, it will pass, just hold on.

For headaches during pregnancy, only Paracetamol is generally considered safe. Always confirm the dosage with your gynecologist. Also, make sure you're well-hydrated and resting enough. Don't self-medicate anything else.

Hey! My sister-in-law just went through this. Her doctor told her to focus on hydrating, gentle neck and shoulder massages, and proper rest. And if it was really bad, a specific low-dose paracetamol. But seriously, check with your own doc first, don't take anything without asking.

It's totally normal to feel anxious about any symptom during pregnancy, especially headaches. Please know that many women experience them. But it's super important to talk to your doctor about it right away so they can advise you safely and put your mind at ease.
