What to expect after termination of pregnancy?

I recently had a termination of pregnancy and I'm trying to understand what physical and emotional changes I might experience now. The doctor gave some advice, but I'm looking for more real-life experiences or things to expect. How long does the bleeding last, for example?

This sounds like a very difficult experience. I imagine there's a lot of physical and emotional recovery. For those who've gone through it, what was the most surprising thing you felt, either physically or mentally? I'd be anxious about the emotional toll.

It's a tough journey, but remember to be kind to yourself! 💕 Expect physical recovery with some bleeding and cramps, and lots of emotional processing too. Take it easy, seek support if you need it, and know that healing happens in many ways. Sending strength! 💪

After pregnancy termination, both physical and emotional recovery are significant. Physically, expect cramping and bleeding. Emotionally, responses vary greatly, and it's essential to allow yourself to feel whatever you feel. Most importantly, follow all post-procedure care instructions from your doctor precisely and seek counseling if needed.

After such a procedure, it's crucial to monitor your physical health. If you have underlying conditions like high BP, make sure to follow up with your doctor, take prescribed medications, and watch for any unusual bleeding or signs of infection. Your body needs careful attention during recovery.

Physically, expect bleeding and cramping for a few days to weeks, similar to a heavy period. Emotionally, it can be very complex; feelings can range from relief to sadness, or a mix. Rest is important, avoid heavy lifting, and use pads, not tampons, to prevent infection. Follow your doctor's instructions for post-care and watch for signs of complications like heavy bleeding or fever.

Oh, that's a heavy topic. After any big physical event, your body needs a lot of rest, and your mind needs peace. Expect to feel tired, maybe some pain, and your hormones will be all over the place. Just like getting old, everything takes longer to fix, haha. But seriously, rest and gentle care.
