Hey there! From what I understand, it's not just the size, but also where the stone is located and if it's causing blockages or severe pain. My cousin had a stone, and even a relatively small one needed intervention because it was stuck badly. Always best to see a Urologist, they'll guide you best.

Yeah, I've been researching this too for a project! It seems like anything above 5mm often has trouble passing naturally, and doctors might consider surgery or other procedures. But then again, some people pass bigger ones, and some smaller ones get stuck. It's complex, really.

Oh, kidney stones! One of those things you never want to experience. My neighbor had one that was 8mm and she had to get surgery. She said the pain was worse than childbirth! So yeah, size matters, but also the pain and if it's getting stuck. Get it checked before it gets THAT bad!

Bro, my dad had a stone last year, it was like 7mm. Doc said it was too big to pass easily, so he had to get it removed. They usually give you a chance to pass it if it's small, but if it's really big or causing issues, then surgery is the way. Don't wait till the pain gets unbearable.

Haha, asking about kidney stones is like asking 'how long is a piece of string?'. Seriously though, they say 5mm is usually the cutoff for trying to pass it naturally. Anything bigger, or if it's being a stubborn little troublemaker, the doc might suggest getting it surgically evicted! Don't let it become a permanent resident!

Dekh bhai, kidney stone mein surgery ka decision doctor hi leta hai. Size 5mm se upar ho toh chances badh jaate hain, khaas kar agar pain ya blockage ho. Apne reports leke jaa doctor ke paas, woh hi best advice dega. Tension mat le, par dheel bhi mat de.

I totally get why you're asking this, kidney stone pain is no joke! Generally, doctors consider surgery for stones larger than 5-10 mm, especially if they're causing severe pain, blockages, or infection. But it really depends on your individual case and symptoms. Please consult a urologist soon.
